Violet Siberian Husky Young Female in Sawyer, North Dakota

My story
Drives a suburban, has 5 kids. Reads at the beach for a living, is upset she lives in North Dakota and there are no beaches. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Intake Date: 19 Apr 2020 ----- est Age at Intake: 2 yrs ----- Breed: We thought this girl was a catahoula because she is the spitting image but DNA tests say she is a whole lot of everything to include Siberian Husky, Rottweiler, Lab, German Shepherd and...pomeranian?? ----- Size: 65 lbs ----- Status: Pound pull/owner surrender/rez dog ----- Compatible with: Chidlren and Dogs, no cats. ----- Suitable for: home with a securely fenced yard. ----- Medical/Behavioral Needs: none noted ----- Additional Notes: Violet came to rescue with her 5 newborn pups. She is a very good mother and incredibly sweet with us. She takes treats gently and all in all appears to be in great health. She would do best with a family who has researched the breeds. They are a great dog but do require an active lifestyle and are very smart. They are driven and devoted. And gorgeous! Her pups have all been adopted and she still waits :( She deserves a home too. Violet is a sweetheart. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- If interested in meeting and potentially adopting please read the adoption requirements and complete the adoption application located at forbellessake.org. Once processed and approved a meet and greet can be scheduled and if a match an adoption is finalized at that time. FBS standard adoption fee is $175 and all dogs are spayed/neutered, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and treated for any known medical needs. Breeds are not guaranteed but often a best guess. Housetraining is not guaranteed but crate training is worked on with all residents. If a yard is present, a secure fence is mandatory. ——————————————————————————-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Medical expenses incurred thus far: Spay pending - $160; DHPP - $10; Rabies - $25; Deworm - $20; Microchip -$10; Total vetting = $xxx+ food, bedding etc; Adoption fee = $175; Loss = +$xxx ----- Without support, we cannot continue to rescue dogs. Unfortunately many are hesitant to pay the minimal adoption fee when dogs can be found free anywhere. What they aren’t prepared for is the vetting expense required and then the animals are not fixed and the reproduction surplus continues. Sponsoring a dog's adoption fee allows us to find them a home after being fully vetted, continue intaking and vetting, and continue baby steps towards “fixing companion animal overpopulation”. To sponsor, send your donation via PayPal at forbellessake@gmail.com with the name of the dog you would like to sponsor in the note! As always, we appreciate your support and cannot do this without you. You are unsung heroes!!
If you have any questions or would like to adopt Violet, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
